USMCOCCA - YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR PROGRAM (YEP)

The purpose of YEP is to help our young talent into helping them find valuable information for their careers, find the right tools to grow and expand, mentor them, being here to help them prepare for their college decisions and to connect them with our members to find jobs and business opportunities. The creation of the young entrepreneurs is extremely important for our chamber since they are the future of our chamber, the creation of new ideas, new ways of doing business, implementation of new technological ideas and innovation.

MISSION STATEMENT

The purpose of YEP is to help our young talent into helping them find valuable information for their careers, find the right tools to grow and expand, mentor them, being here to help them prepare for their college decisions and to connect them with our members to find jobs and business opportunities. The creation of the young entrepreneurs is extremely important for our chamber since they are the future of our chamber, the creation of new ideas, new ways of doing business, implementation of new technological ideas and innovation.

OBJECTIVES OF OUR PROGRAM:

The USMCOC will promote and help our young entrepreneur with the following

  • Identify their talents to help them find the right mentors
  • Help them identify internship opportunities among the company members
  • Create programs that interest our young entrepreneurs
  • Implement new social media programs to help our members promote their services
  • Annual Student and Young Entrepreneur Awards Program and Convention
  • Monthly in-person meetings with keynote speakers and networking programs
